TO THE MOUNTAIN DESIGNATED

Noah’s ark rested on the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:1-4). God remembered! God made a covenant (9:11-16).

Abraham was told to go to a mountain in Moriah (Genesis 22:1-3). He proved his faith by doing what God said (22:12). God provides the lamb for Himself (22:8, 13-14). John 1:29; 1 Peter 1:19

God gave His Law to Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 19:1-2, 16-20, 24). God came down and made a covenant (19:5-6). The sanctified God is to be feared and heeded. Hebrews 12:25-27

The mountain of the Lord’s house has become the chief of the mountains (Isaiah 2:1-4). God’s stronghold and dwelling place (Psalm 9:11; 74:2; 76:2). The Messiah would be made king on God’s mountain (Psalm 2:6).

The mountain of the Lord’s house has become the chief of the mountains (Isaiah 2:1-4). In Zion men may call on the Lord’s name to be saved (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21). The redeemed stand victoriously with the Lamb on Zion (Rev. 14:1).
