Figure 1 Serum RBP4 levels according to the severity of NAFLD. Vertical axis shows the serum RBP levels in mg/dL and the horizontal axis shows the patient groups. The box represents the interquartile range (25th and 75th percentiles) from the median (the horizontal line), the bars represent the 95% confidence interval. A stepwise decrease of serum RPB4 levels were noted from patients with simple steatosis (3.8 mg/dL) to patients with borderline diagnosis (2.9 mg/dL) to patients with definitive NASH (1.9 mg/dL).
