Warm-Up: Good Guys, Bad Guys We know Animal Farm is about “political failure” (i.e. corruption). Using your notes, make a T- chart with characters in both columns: Characters who will become corrupt Characters who will keep the principles of Animalism

Quote Practice Pick one character from the corrupt side. Write down a quote that supports that they will be corrupted, and explain why it shows this.

Inquiry Assignment Use internet searches to answer the questions. Make sure you cite all sources. Wikipedia, Yahoo Answers (or any answer page) and Biography.com are not allowable sources. HOWEVER they may have links to sources you can use.

Homework - Due October 28th Read chapters 3, 4 and 5 of Animal Farm. Write a 1 page dialectical journal. Focus: Pros and cons of freedom

Exit Ticket: Reflection What did you learn about George Orwell? How does it help you understand Animal Farm?
