Presentation transcript:

Please take time to read the following announcements… Thanks For Being Here!!!!

Please be sure that the snacks you send with your students are not juicy or messy (i.e. oranges, Cheetos, popcorn, cantaloupe, yogurt, apple sauce etc.). In first grade we have a working snack so all food needs to be neat finger food. Water Bottles – The only drink your child may have in the classroom is water. If your child brings a water bottle to school, IT IS HELPFUL TO HAVE A SPORT-TOP water bottle.

Please be sure notify your childs teacher if you plan to send a birthday treat to school. You may bring it first thing in the morning and drop it off with your child. Also, be sure to send everything needed to serve the treat (i.e. napkins, knife, plates, etc.) as we will serve them in the classroom as we have time during the day. THANKS!!!! You may only send party invitations to be distributed at school if you are inviting everyone in the class (boys and girls). Also, if your child is in 1B, for example, please dont send invitations for that entire class and only for 1 or 2 students in other classes. If you do not plan to invite the entire class, please do not send the invitations to school.

Parents, PLEASE remember to pull all the way to the front of the drop off loop. Dont try to stop in front of the door to let your child out. Also, remember to use your GREEN SIGN with BLACK WRITING (papers available on the table in the gym) with your childs name on it. The parent loop moves much faster if we can have 4 or 5 cars letting students in at the same time. We have volunteers helping us morning and afternoon. PLEASE follow their directives. Children are to exit the car from the passenger side only. Please have your child ready to exit the car as soon as you stop. Please do not get out of your car in the parent loop to assist your child. Volunteers will help if needed.

Dont forget to sign up for a PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE time on the table. Our fall conference date is Monday, October 14 th. We look forward to discussing specifics about your child with you on that day. THANKS AGAIN FOR COMING!!!!!
