Participants should use both the columns and adopt the text formatting exactly as in this template. Three templates are provided and participants are advised to select the appropriate format/template based on their chosen topic. The suggested topics for Safe Mobility are as follows:- Vehicle Dynamics Structural reliability Active safety – Lighting, signalling, Brakes, Tyre technology, Passive safety – Vehicle Crash, Pedestrian Safety, Seats and Restraint systems, Testing & Evaluation, Materials & manufacturing, Simulation & CAE, Electronics application for Safe Mobility Bona fide Engineering Students of UG, PG and Ph. D levels from all over India are eligible to apply. Maximum 2 students per poster can contribute. Only one poster entry per student or pair is allowed. Those who passed out in 2018 can also apply. Conference participants will be recommended to visit the poster session and interact with their authors. The posters must contain unpublished results of any original academic research on subject related to one of the topics listed above. Methods and results obtained so far must be described in the poster. Performance claim and all conclusions must be supported by test data or validated simulation. Editorial quality must be maintained at highest level and content has to be free from technical errors. Tables, graphs and images (color or black & white) may be included in Poster and each must have a caption and must be numbered consecutively. Initial screening of the posters will be done by the judges to select 5 poster from each of the three categories for the final round. Students selected for the final round will have to submit the final poster after incorporating suggestions given by the judges. All the posters selected for the final round will be printed by ARAI for display. Participants are required to bring a duly attested copy of the bona fide certificate on their college/institute’s official letter-head when they come to ARAI. THE DECLARED PRIMARY AND SECONDARY AUTHOR IN THIS CERTIFICATE CANNOT BE CHANGED AT A LATER STAGE. The final poster should be submitted in MS POWERPOINT format (.pptx) as per this template by email to sppc_2019@araiindia.com Students will be provided with the Poster Stand at the venue and are required to present a 7 minute synopsis of their poster which should include at least the following sections: Introduction, objectives, methodology, results and conclusions followed by a short discussion of 3 minutes. Judging will be based on the overall quality of the poster, the student’s ability to effectively summarize the work and the quality & clarity of answers to judges’ questions.
