Test-Taking Strategies Look at the text type to decide what type of writing it is. (information, biography, letter, story) Read all the text. Read and put a cloud around the title. (charts, headings, pictures) Read the questions and the answer choice. Put an X to the right of the Underline where you found the answer in the text. (charts, headings, pictures) answer choices that are incorrect. Next to the answer you choose Check that you answered all questions. write which paragraph you found it in.
