What is TScore? Software to record and print scores at trampoline and gymnastics events Runs on one or more PCs in a local network Designed to be easy to learn and need minimal training for recorders Helps you organise, schedule, monitor and communicate your event Includes VScore for results display and publishing Although it started as just Trampoline, it now does TRA, SYN, DMT, TUM, ACR, MAG, WAG, POL No internet required (although it can publish results there with additional software)

Terminology A competition comprises 1 or more events over 1 or more days A discipline or event is trampoline, synchro, DMT, tumbling etc. A panel is a judging location within a discipline A class is a set of gymnasts competing in the same age group, grade and gender grouping A round is a single performance, routine or pass Set, Vol and Final are named rounds in trampolining Execution, difficulty, bonus, HD, ToF and penalties are types of scores and the judges who award them Although it started as just Trampoline, it now does TRA, SYN, DMT, TUM, ACR, MAG, WAG, POL No internet required (although it can publish results there with additional software)

Picking the class This takes you to the scoring screen Run through the main elements of the screen Selectors along the top row – event, panel, class

Sorting gymnasts Click any header to order by that column Click again to reverse the order, 3rd time to reset

Picking a gymnast Either click the list, or the previous/next buttons

Entering scores Enter scores with the number pad Don’t normally need to include the decimal point Move between score boxes using the mouse, Tab, Enter or Arrow keys. Shift+Tab for previous box. If you use Enter, TScore will save the score when the last box has been completed Any errors will be immediately reported as you leave the box Any inconsistencies will be advised when you try to save.

Scoring example If the scores are 7.6, 7.4, 7.0, 7.5, 7.7 and difficulty is 1.5, press: 7 6 tab 7 4 tab 7 tab 7 5 tab 7 7 tab 1 5 For a score less than 1.0, put a zero or '.' in front of it: 04 is 0.4 Common typos are corrected - "76." or ".76" will mean "7.6" As each new score is entered, it is shown in BLUE on the form. "Save" and "Undo" buttons will appear, and the totals will update. Click the 'Save' button or simply pick another competitor You will be asked to confirm whether to save the scores you have just entered.

Scoring corrections Mistakes happen! Here’s how to fix them. Select the gymnast and simply overtype the wrong numbers Corrected numbers show in GREEN The Save as normal What if I need to delete scores for a gymnast? Click the Clear button next to the round to be cleared

Scoring corrections Can I move scores between rounds or gymnasts? YES – you can copy the scores for a round by pressing <ctrl>S with your cursor in one of the round’s boxes The relevant Paste and x buttons will appear To copy all rounds, press <ctrl>A Now select the gymnast to copy into, put the cursor into a box in the target round and click the paste button of your choice. There are shortcuts - <ctrl>J, K, L & M to paste rounds 1,2,3 & 4. Use <ctrl>Q to paste all Click the X button to clear the paste buffers

Scoring corrections What if you have missed out a gymnast, or not realised they have withdrawn? TScore lets you move multiple results up or down easily Highlight the gymnast whose scores are to be moved down, or who should have the next gymnast’s scores and click the Move Scores button

Scoring form variations The content changes according to scoring rules & panel composition

Range & Conditioning Trampoline / DMT R&C scoring is switched on by setting the number of R&C judges in the Preferences screen.

Printing - 1 TScore can print results, certificates and checklists Uses Word or Excel to handle formatting May be done centrally or by each recorder Can print multiple copies and preview the print Select the class, then click the Print button

Printing - 2 Printing ‘per flight results’ is used mainly by USAG Certificate printing lets you print with or without scores Certificate printing can filter for qualifiers only TScore tracks which certificates have been printed to avoid duplicates, but this can be overridden R & C candidates list can be restricted by number and by qualification status

Exporting results You can export all results to Excel Use the Import / Export option from the main screen Options are self-explanatory Avoid exporting personal data

Exporting the database You can export the competition database as a safe copy or to transfer to another computer You can export ALL competitions for backup or transfer Export is in SQL text format and is used later by the Import option

Monitoring You can track the progress of each class and panel You can also view and print the selected class

VScore VScore is the companion program to TScore that presents live competition results at your venue It runs unattended, showing the most recent results according to parameters that you set It can drive devices up to 4k resolution Display up to 4 competition databases simultaneously You can filter by event, panel, apparatus and day You can filter by time since last change You can control the display timings You can intersperse images and messages Publish HTML for dynamic upload to live websites
