Previously on Eighth Grade Night Marching Band- Competitive and Non – Non-Competitive- Just Football Games – Competitive- One rehearsal after school a week, competitions on Saturdays Concert Season – Wind Ensemble – Concert Band – String Orchestra/Full Orchestra – Gold Shows and Solo and Ensemble

Eighth Grade Night 2 GOLDiversity A Place for Everyone You Can do Band/Orchestra and… – Swim – Water Polo – ASB – Academic League – Sleep

Academics Of the 34 Seniors in Westview Gold… – 6 in the top 30 of our 524-student senior class – 3 are national merit finalists – 7 have SAT scores in the top 1% nationally – 8 have taken 10+ AP/Honors classes At the same time… – All have taken a regular class – Many take 2, 1, or no AP Classes

(Other) Extra-Curriculars Sports – Any sport (except for football) Clubs – Mock Trial, ASB, Tutoring, Getting Tutored – Girl Scouts, ACS, Non-Profits, Youth Government Band – 26 seniors are in leadership – Positions for those willing, and a family for all

Westview Gold We get around – Disneyland – Wind Ensemble trips – Carnegie Hall Players of all levels – People with 12 years experience and those with none – All Southern and All State – At WV: Full Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Pit, Pep Band, and plenty of other opportunities.
