Welcome to 5th Grade!!!

Class Rules Stay quiet and keep your eyes on the teacher or the person speaking. Listen and follow ALL directions. Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak. Keep your hands and your feet to yourself. Complete all assignments on time!

Procedures for the Wing Rewards *Praise for a job well done! *Student of the Month *Attendance and Honor Roll Rewards *Extra Friday recess time Consequences *ISD after three marks in a day. *Sent to the office and a call home after 4 marks.

More Procedures!!!! *Students will only be allowed one at a time in the bathroom or out of the classroom. Raise your hand to ask if you need to go. * We will walk in the halls from one room to another in a straight, single file line!!!!! *You must have a permission slip signed and a pass to see the nurse. * If your homework is not turned in it is an automatic ISD!! You do not get out of ISD once you are in, for that particular day. *You MUST check out a Science book to take home, if you are absent. The books at the desk, stay in the desk.

Science Journals!!!! In my class you will need: A three or five subject notebook for a Science journal. Colored pencils, regular pencils, a yellow highlighter and a glue stick. BRING THESE ITEMS EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Journals will be check frequently. Please use page after page and do not put work from other subjects in the journal.

5th grader’s are AR Readers 5th grader’s are AR Readers!!! You are REQUIRED to bring an Accelerated book to every class, everyday!!!!!!
