Education in the United States of America

In the United States of America there are pre-school which is not obligatory and kindergarten which is the introduction to school. American children to go to school when they are six years old. This school is called elementary school.

After finishing elementary school a child goes to secondary school After finishing elementary school a child goes to secondary school. It is called high school in the United States of America. And the pupils called the students.

Student

There are two types of high schools: The first type is divided into two component parts (three years of junior and three years of senior high) The second type uses two grades uses two grades intermediate school and four grades of high school.

During the four years of high school every student in order to get a high school diploma must earn a minimum of twenty two credits by attending classes regularly and by obtaining a passing final grade.
