PRESENTED TO MAM HUMAIRA MUSHTAQ WELCOME STUDENTS

CHRONOLOGICAL CV The chronological resume is one of the three mainstream type of resume formats used today; the other formats being functional resumes and combinational resumes.  As the name implies chronological resume is organized by job titles which are listed in reverse chronological order.

EXPLANATION:  Potential employers or recruiters often prefer a chronological resume because the format is very efficient in explaining past work history.  The advantage of chronological resumes is that they highlight more recent jobs experiences, which might be applicable to the position being pursued and allow the potential employer to easily follow career progression.  The primary disadvantage of chronological cv is that if the writer has a gap in their career history or seemingly illogical career progression, this is easily visible with this format.

Features:  You’re an experienced worker seeking employement similar to job you have now.  You’ve always held similar jobs.  You’ve followed a steady career track, gradually working your way into positions with greater responsibility.

FORMAT OF CHRONOLOGICAL CV:  General description of candidate’s professional profile task achievements details aren’t necessary but an idea of candidate’s skills.  Objectives: This is optional section where you can briefly define your career objective.  WORKING EXPERIENCE: Start with your most recent position. List all of the your experience, even if it wasn’t employment base. We use bullets points to describe your duties and responsibilities.  EDUCATION: Begin with your highest degree and work backwards. Also include awards

You’ve received  ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Including an additional skills section to your resume allow you to add any skill that you didn’t have an opportunity to add elsewhere.  OTHER INFORMATIONS:  LANGUAGE: In this point you write about language you understand or speak.  REFERENCES: It is best to simply state that reference are available upon request; unless they have been specifically requested.
