GLOBAL PREVENTION COALITION FIRST 100 DAYS GROUP 2

What are the immediate priorities for the global coalition? Letter to heads of state and civil society informing them about coalition and plans, UN co-sponsors and donors TA plans for countries Global coordinating mechanism – communication, planning and coordination, mutual accountability Create confidential space for govts to speak and learn from each other on ‘difficult issues’ Score card – needs further consultation and refinement Indicator/s for structural interventions – plan for agreement and inclusion Who leads? Who do you call? UNAIDS? Global Fund – support to prioritise prevention plans

How do we move from country consultations to roadmap implementation? Acknowledge countries are at different levels, places Feeding back to stakeholders – ‘beyond usual suspects’ Coordinating mechanism – leadership, communication, planning and target setting, mutual accountability – NACs? Target setting – national and sub-national Maintaining sense of urgency

What support will countries need? TA planning Costing and resourcing Integrating evidence at country level
