The Chuck’d out Design Consists of a platform with a "Z" shaped ramp A ball rolls down to a mousetrap that is set off The trap closes the circuit for a cake batter mixer that has a rotating razor attached Razor cuts string a that holds a 1 Kg mass Once cut the 1 Kg mass slowly pulls up the other mass up to the desired height

Energy Stored MBallgh + Mweightgh + .5(k)x^2 + 120v The ball starts out with potential energy of .3476N Which sets off the mouse trap releasing stored energy, but more importantly closes a circuit The closed circuit starts the energy flow of the mixer which is 120V The blade cuts the string releasing the stored energy in our mass which equals 9.81N

Construction Issues We had a couple minor issues We ended up altering our original design about 3 times Rewiring the mixer was slightly challenging Cheap supplies (mousetraps break after about 10 uses) The End
