An active school? Successes and challenges

What is the problem? We all want what is best for our children but this current generation of children are facing a decline in their physical and emotional wellbeing that will impact their life chances in later life.

Which programmes work? Below is some detail as to ‘what works to increase physical activity in schools’. The principles were developed following an evidence review of all school based programmes across the country in 2015:   We need to ensure that whatever ‘products’ we are sampling in the toolkit that we have a price and access point for them
