LT. Cunningham’s Class This week in: We are learning: Reading: We are going to read A Covered Wagon Girl. We are going to be focusing on visualizing. This will increase students’ comprehension. Math: We will be reviewing what we learned the week before spring break and continue with our current chapters. The patterns group will be learning about order of operations and the fractions group will continue to learn how to do basic operations with fractions. Social Skills: We will continue social skills with students who continue to need this support. Writing: We are going to start/continue our rough drafts for our famous hoosiers project. Important Reminders News NWEA will begin the week of April 9th The second round of ISTEP will being the week of April 16th Normal spelling and homework this week. There will be no more after school compass with me. If your student stays with me on Tues. and Thurs., they will not stay anymore. Week of April 2 to April 6 ccunningham@goapa.org

If they get all of the words on the pretest correct, then they don’t have to take a post test and will work on challenge words. Fridays are spelling test days and the results will be sent home either that day or Monday. You can also go online to see your student’s scores on activities and tests!
