We will be on a regular bell schedule ever day this week. We will postpone the planner and binder check until Wednesday. Today’s house lesson is about making mistakes. House lesson presentation on making mistakes

Good Morning/Afternoon Periods 1, 3, 4, & 5 Good morning house students, please welcome Mr. Bradburn. He will be subbing for me today. I know you will give him your highest level of respect. Today we are going to be learning about area and volume. First we will watch a Khan Academy video on finding the area of a triangle. Then the second video will be on finding the volume of a rectangular prism. After each video there will be some practice problems. Expectations Write your answers on a piece of notebook paper, do not write on the worksheets. You may work with your shoulder partner, your entire table or by yourself.

Continued Periods 1, 3, 4, & 5 3. Take notes on the videos there may be a quiz and you will be able to use your notes. 4. Each group, team or individual will need to turn in a sheet with their answers and each students name must be on the paper. This will go in the grade book. 5. Make sure you label your answers. Area is labeled as units2 or square units Volume is labeled as units3 or cubic units Video 1 area of a triangle Video 2 Volume of a rectangular prism

Good Morning Period 2 Today I would like you to get on the Chromebooks and go to Google Classroom. I put links to two Khan Academy videos I would like you to watch. After each video I would like you to do some practice problems. If you need help getting to Google Classroom Thomas or Sam can most likely assist you. If you have headphones you may use them. Watch the video on multiplying fractions first and then do some practice problems of the practice problems. After 20 minutes go back and watch the mean, median and mode video and then do some practice problems. Remember our new checkout procedures for the chrome books, if you take one other than the one you are assigned to you must fill out the checkout form.
