GWAR: Timed Practice

Directions: On the next slide is a GWAR-style prompt. Once you see it, begin planning and writing. You will be given 15 minutes. At the end of the time, check to see how much of the essay you got done. (This is just practice and you don’t need to turn it in). How long did it take you to brainstorm? How long did it take you to write any paragraphs that you managed to complete? What worked well? What didn’t? What stumbling blocks did you run into? What do you think you can do to overcome the problems you ran into?
