9/8/14 E.L.T Warm Up: Read for ten minutes. Work Session: Closing: Get a copy of “The Essential 55” book and: Warm Up: Read for ten minutes. Work Session: InterActive Reader & Writer workbook: Complete page 25. Then, read the story on pages 27-35. Don’t forget to do the work in the margins!  Closing: Complete pages 36-37. Be sure to show them to me when you finish!

Character 9/8/14 Language Arts – Warm Up Sit in your SPORTS teams. You will need your Warm Up Sheet EVERYDAY. This Warm Up sheet will be due Thursday (09/11/14). Character Describe an interesting character and explain what motivates him/her to think and behave as he/she does. Are there any points at which the characters undergo certain changes? Why? Are these changes believable?

9/8/14 Essential Question: How can I work with a group to demonstrate my comprehension and analysis of a text? Standard: ELA.6.RL.3 – Describe how a particular story’s or drama’s plot unfolds in a series of episodes as well as how the characters respond or change as the plot moves toward a resolution.

9/8/14 Language Arts Work Session – “Pendemonium” Video - Pronouns Literature Circle Reading – 20 minutes. Bring a poster board ASAP! The deadline is today! You can get two for a dollar at the local dollar stores! (Only one is needed per pair.) Completed projects are due Friday! You may submit them early on Thursday.
