Shakespeare's education and childhood Began his education at the Stratford grammar school Learned reading and writing, English and Latin His stories have a familiarity with the stories by Latin authors, like Seneca, Cicero, Ovid, Virgil, and Horace Stratford grammar school

Lost Years First Lost Years 1578-1582 He left school and went to work Second Lost Years 1585-1592 (after the birth of twins until he went to London).
