Writing Read for 20 minutes Choose a writing prompt from the August calendar Math: Place Value We will work on 3 digit place value this week. We will learn the Base 10 form, Word form, and Expanded Form. Math Work on your All About Me poster Choose a math game from the “Number and Operations in Base Ten” sheet Writing: Writing Workshop Launch We will learn how Writing Workshop flows in our class. We will begin learning the steps of the narrative writing process. Spelling Read for 20 minutes Watch the S.O.S video on the class blog and practice with the word “said” Reading Read for 20 minutes Finish your All About Me poster Health: Nutrition We will learn about healthy food choices from each of the five food groups.
