Liberal Beliefs: i. government activism (solves problems): - tax wealthy for gov. programs - economic control - regulate business - “equality” b. Conservative Beliefs: i. government passivism (threatens “liberty”) - state gov. powers - laisse-faire - lower taxes = greater wealth (trickle down econ.)
