Quick Project Overview Uses GPS to record distance run Stores Data on SD card after run completed Displays information to user in an easy-to-understand format

Simple Block Diagram Battery Monitor GPS LCD 9S12XDT256 Speaker Input Push Buttons and RPG SD Card

Major Hardware Components MC9S12XDT256 Enough Flash to store data for one Run Contains all necessary Peripherals Switch Mode Power Supply Has to supply three different voltages Must be efficient due to battery power supply LCD Needs two different supply voltages

Major Hardware Components GPS Need to use SPI High Power Consumption SD Card Board Need to use SPI Allows easy transfer of data between 9S12 and SD card
