Changes effective for NM as of July 1, 2014 NAS (Phase 1 programs on 7/1/13) Milestones Clinical Competency Committee (CCC), from Common PR 7/1/13 Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) Program New PR PD & faculty General program Resident eligibility Program performance Greater documentation, greater detail Emphasis on outcomes: competence, patient care, and quality

Case Log Requirements 7/1/14 Removal of requirement to log each and every case Removal of requirement to log faculty member & case ID Continuing requirement to log: Oral I-131 therapies Parenteral therapies Cardiac stress procedures Therapeutic procedures (all) Myocardial stress procedures (all?) Pediatric cases

New PR as of 7/1/15: CCC Members Doesn’t apply to NM but to chief residents in other specialties, e.g., an internal medicine resident who stays for an extra year to serve as an administrative chief.
