7 Demotions of Christ Philippians 2:5-11

Christ did not hold on to his equality with God. Demotion 1 Christ did not hold on to his equality with God.

Philippians 2:6 "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God . . ."

He made himself nothing Demotion 2 He made himself nothing

Philippians 2:7a " but made himself nothing . . . ."

Demotion 3, 4, 5 taking the very nature of a servant being made in human likeness. being found in the appearance of a man.
