Figure 1 A Schematic Outlining the Integration of TSSA to Refine Analysis of Regulatory Networks Involved in ESC Differentiation Developing a regulatory network begins with a characterized regulator, such as a transcription factor, involved in lineage specification. Direct transcriptional targets of the factor are initially identified by ChIP-chip or ChIP-sequencing methods that can then be integrated with gene expression data and further refined by translational state data to narrow down crucial regulatory modules. These modules can be integrated with proteomic data to define their function and role during ESC differentiation.
