Report (Bound or Stapled)

TII Originality Report You MUST have an originality report attached to your FD Only the summary page (with the colored box) is needed.

The Report First page begins at the top margin. One inch margins Last name and page number in the header at top right of EACH page. Text/body of essay must be at 5-7pages (CP) or 7- 10 pages (AP). Title page, bib, etc don’t count in this total. Essay is in MLA format and error free In-text citations are used for quotes/paraphrases. End notes are permitted for definitions, etc.

Content Should flow as an essay, NOT a report with sub headings. Intro: who are you/background, why this project, how is this a learning stretch (thesis)? Relevant Findings: What research says about the things you needed to learn. If not relevant to your project it shouldn’t be in the essay. NO: all about, history or, or basic info you already know. Application: “So what?” How is project affected by research? If it’s not, then you didn’t learn anything.

Appendix/Appendices (if any) Any additional information (charts, graphs, lists) referenced in your paper. When citing these materials you may include a parenthetical note to (see appendix A). If the material in your appendices is taken from another source, cite that source in your Works Cited and Annotated Bibliography.

Works Cited -MLA formatted entry for each source used in your paper -Cite all material quoted, paraphrased, or where facts were taken directly from a source. -Web site URL is NOT ENOUGH! Use MLA.

Annotated Bibliography Full MLA bibliographic entry. (hanging indents!) ALL works researched whether used or not Will include items on Works Cited list (After all, you researched them too!)
