When? The timing of the Tribulation is absolutely dependent upon the timing of the _________. At the time when Daniel wrote the prophecy of Daniel the Rapture was not in evidence. All that Daniel could see was the seventy weeks that were determined upon his people Israel and upon the city of Jerusalem. He could no more see the _____________ between the sixty-ninth week and the seventieth week than the Old Testament people could see the ______ between the first coming and second coming of Christ. Daniel 9:24-27 – Quite literally the text refers to a “seven” or “sevens.” The Hebrew Scholar H. C. Three Decrees The decree of Cyrus (Ezra 1:2-4; 6:3-5) in 537 B.C. The decree of Artaxerxes (Ezra 7:11-16) in 458 BC. The decree of Artaxerxes (Nehemiah 2:5-8,17-18) in 444 B.C. The start date for this prophecy must be the third decree. Sir Robert Anderson gives the date for the third decree was given on _______________ B.C.
