TRPA ADVISORY PLANNING COMMISSION 19 members (9 California, 9 Nevada, and 1 Federal) Advises Governing Board on all Regional Plan amendments and project EISs

REGULATORY PROGRAM Rulemaking and enforcement authority aimed at controlling environmental impacts of new development Establishes development limitations (location, pace and overall development caps) Establishes design and construction standards

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (EIP) Repairs environmental damage of the past Coordinated effort to identify, fund and implement all necessary environmental improvements, programs, and research to attain thresholds $908 million of the $2 billion program needed within 10 year timeframe Entire $908 million has been committed

ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING PROGRAM Provides feedback on threshold attainment progress Provides information for necessary regulatory or EIP adjustments Provides validation of regional plan and thresholds
