Fig 1 Development of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and differentiation into different cell lineages. Fibroblasts are obtained from a skin biopsy specimen and reprogrammed into iPSCs by expressing 4 genes (OCT4, KLF4, SOX2, and cMYC) introduced by the STEMCCA lentiviral vector.
