Rough draft: The First Attempt Use your outline to guide you! Write using complete sentences This is like a trial run. This is the time to cross-things out, erase, bump up language, etc. Write legibly, but don’t stress out. Enjoy the process! You have already done the hard part (research), now you just have to get it down on paper.. Use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, but expect that you will find mistakes, and fix them tomorrow.
Handwritten length: 3-4 pages (CP) or 5-6 pages (Pre-AP). Label first page with complete MLA Format Heading. Label EVERY page with last name, page number on the top right hand side. Complete outline ASAP, and begin rough draft immediately after. Be prepared to finish Rough Draft in class on Thursday, April 19th..
