Essential Question What do primary sources tell us about ancient civilizations?

Graphic Organizer Write name of artifact Write a social science perspective Describe your primary source in 2-3 sentences. Summarize your secondary source in 1-2 sentences. Explain how the evidence provided above relates to your social science perspective.

Graphic Organizer Graphic Organizer Great Pyramid at Giza Sociology. It’s an enormous golden brown structure. The top is smooth, showing what was left of the white limestone that covered it. There are three smaller pyramids in front of it. Was built for Pharaoh Khufu to help take him into the afterlife. The small pyramids were made for his wives. This proves that the Great Pyramid at Giza relates to sociology because it was built for someone who ranked high in ancient Egypt’s social class. Those with lower social status did not have pyramids built for them which also shows sociology.

Egyptian Artifact Paragraph Directions Finish the Egyptian Artifact Notes worksheet. Complete the graphic organizer. Go to SPS Student Portal and then login to Office 365. Create new Word document. This giant structure was built for Pharaoh Khufu to help take him into the afterlife. There are also three small pyramids in front that were built for his wives.
