To teach again the content in a lesson that students did not master. What is Reteaching? To teach again the content in a lesson that students did not master.

How do you know when to reteach? Introducing new content Consistent monitoring or assessing reveals if students have grasped the concept If not, RETEACH! Reviewing previously taught content Assess mastery of skills to direct need for reteaching before moving forward

How to Reteach Whole group instruction: if the entire class did not get it Small group instruction: If only a handful of students did not get it Centers: to firm up and practice skills Peer tutoring: One student teaches another student
