Rotary Mentoring Responsibilities 1) Monitor new members comfort level and involvement How – Through periodic personal meetings with new member – By being available to answer questions & provide guidance 2) Introduce new members to your club How – By accompanying new member to club meetings occasionally – By introducing new member to others in your club 3) Explain opportunities for club service How – By providing a list of committees and discuss members interest – By involving new member in your committee activities ( if no immediate need or interest in other committees is apparent ) 4) Inform and/or host new member in special meetings E.g meetings for new members, social, key projects, district meetings, etc. Service above Self
