Level One - Literal/Factual What time of year did the Green Knight arrive at Camelot? What colors are used to describe the Green Knight? What did the green sash represent to Gawain? lead to a good summary of the text

Level Two - Interpretive/Inferential require analyzing or interpreting How are the three hunts symbolic of the "hunting" in the castle? Level Three - Experiential/Connecting open-ended; go beyond the text personal experiences + evidence from text provoke discussion Have you ever made a wrong decisions that left a "scar" of some sort?
