Signing on to your Science Textbook Go to Mrs. Streetman’s Blog and click on the Online Science textbook info page on the blog.
Go to this link: my.hrw.com & enter your Username and Password for your class period. USERNAME = escience1100 PASSWORD = x2p5x
Signing on to your Science Textbook Once you are at the website, enter the Username and Password found on your Earth Science Newsletter in your science notebook. The password and username are case sensitive.
Signing on to your Science Textbook Click on the Interactive Online Edition (where the red arrow is pointing)
Using your Science Textbook You can select a unit or chapter and section and select “Go” You can select the yellow “book pages” tab and enter the page number you would like to go to.
Finding your Science Glossary From the “Select a Unit or Chapter” bar, scroll to reference at the very bottom and then click the blue “Go.” Click on the English and Spanish Glossary.
E-Activities Online Science Textbook If you select the yellow “e-Activities” tab you can access the textbook that can be read aloud in either English or Spanish. You can also see visual models for each section, lab videos, and other tools to enhance your reading and learning.
Student Resources The yellow “student resources” tab will give you access to assignments which can assist students in areas they might be struggling or who want to extend their learning. There are vocabulary activities, puzzles, internet extensions, lower level reading text, Spanish resources, etc.
