Charter Process How to become a Club
Charter Process Pick up a Club Charter packet from PUB 160 Fill out the Charter with your name, Statement of Purpose etc. Get all appropriate signatures including: Advisor’s signature and 10 currently registered students Turn in to Club Coordinator’s Mailbox in PUB 160 Club Coordinator reads through it and will contact Representative listed if there are problems Club Coordinator and Director of Student Life approves it Listed Representative gets a notice saying their Club has been approved.
Possible Challenges in getting Chartered Mission Statement isn’t inclusive to all students or it focuses too much on the community, not Clark College Not all 10 student signatures and SIDs are valid Another Club very similar to yours already exists Another Program at Clark already exists that is the same as your Club
Other Information Please Read Club Handbook! Found at http://www.clark.edu/student_life/forms_docs.php Any other questions, comments, etc. Ask the Club Coordinator! Email at ascccc@clark.edu You must attend at least 3 Club Committee meetings to keep “Active” Club status
