Mirror Images

A MIRROR IMAGE IS A REFLECTION

Your left hand is a “mirror image” of your right hand

Some mirror images are ‘superimposable’

Some mirror images are not superimposable (‘nonsuperimposable’) Nonsuperimposable mirror images have ‘right –handed’ and ‘left-handed’ forms… stereoisomers.
