Epistle to the Ephesians Written from Rome (Paul imprisoned) around AD62 – five years after his visit Tychicus – a convert of Asia; travelled to Rome with Paul; returns with the epistle; went to Crete (Titus 3:12) and later back to Ephesus (2 Tim 4:12) Circulated with Colossians, Philippians and Philemon No hint of Paul’s difficulties

Ephesians chapter one “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (verse 3)

Ephesians chapter one “He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world…” (verse 4)
