SOFIE - Work Support for Safety Relevant Software Intensive Systems Development The vision of SOFIE project is to develop an secure work support platform called PORT PORT integrates applications for company specific tool chains in different industrial sectors PORT ensures secure environment for integrated tools PORT allows to developers to add any type of applications that could be used in company specific tool chains PORT brings cost savings for enterprises due to the lower number of applications enterprises need to run their business

Technological Innovation SOFIE project answers to the identified industry needs Due to increasing number of applications used in enterprises, tool related costs are significantly rising PORT enables enterprises to use optimal set of applications to support their ways of working Plug and play tools that are replaceable on demand SOFIE contributes to ARTEMIS goals by enabling a secure environment (ASP1) and interoperability between applications in PORT(ASP5)

The market innovation of the SOFIE project is Enterprises save in the long run in tool related costs Licenses Training Integration Maintenance etc. SOFIE deserves to be funded, because: It answers to identified industrial needs by enabling on demand change of tools to support their business An answer to rapidly changing environment It develops secure platform for SIS developer’s applications
