Presentation transcript:

Take a photograph with your phone Take a photograph with your phone. If you can, take it as a black and white photograph. Make sure there is a strong light source…. And good shadows

Open the image using “Paint”. (not paint.net) Make sure the rulers are visible

Draw a line down the center of the image. If you hold the shift key down when you draw the line, it will be straight Use a thinner line, and maybe make it red so you can see it

Draw a line horizontally right under the eyes. again, if you hold down the shift key when you draw it, it will be straight

Use the ruler to draw lines down the image Use the ruler to draw lines down the image. Make sure they are the same distance apart. I drew a line every 8 marks, but you can use what ever measuring marker you want. Don’t worry if the space on the ends is a little larger or smaller.

Make horizontal lines across the image using the same number of measuring marks so separate them. Again, I used 8

Draw you line lightly down the center of your paper

Draw your line horizontally across

Measure ever two inches from the center out in each direction

Slide the ruler up, and make a small mark every two inches from the center out

Align the ruler with the marks, and draw lines down

Place your ruler vertically along the center line Place your ruler vertically along the center line. And make marks every two inches from the center up, and down

Then mover your ruler over and align it with one of the other vertical lines and make marks every two inches from the center up and down

Align your ruler with these marks and draw horizontal lines connecting them.
