Agenda Introduction- 3 minutes Context – 20 minutes How does the organizational culture impact the development and assessment of non instructional SLOs? Tools- 20 minutes Are there any tools to assist colleges with implementing non instructional SLOs, SAOs, SSOs, and Goals? Questions and Answers -12 minutes

Workshop Description The assessment of non-instructional units is an on-going process designed to monitor and improve the effectiveness of the unit being assessed. Professionals in each unit: Develop explicit statements of the unit’s mission and objectives. Verify that the unit’s operations are organized to foster the objectives. Collect empirical evidence that indicates how well objectives are being met. Uses results to improve the unit’s effectiveness (“close the loop”).
