Ashburton wheelie bins

What the bins are, what are for? •There is going to be 2 wheelie bins and 1 container. •The yellow wheelie bin is for recycling. •The Red wheelie bin is for rubbish. •The Green container is for glass. •There is no Plastic lining bags in wheelie bins

Are we allowed to take the wheelie bins if you are moving?

How the Bins Will Help the Environment They will help increase recycling because you can now recycle more because the recycling bin is bigger and there are two bins so there is more room for recycling, however it will not decrease the amount of rubbish going into rubbish dumps and the amount of gases going into the atmosphere.

Who picks the bins up. The company that is going to be collecting rubbish is Envirowaste. It is also their responsibility to introduce the new rubbish system. They won this contract off the council.

Who will be getting the wheelie bins. •Ashburton •Methven •Rakaia •Mayfield •Hinds •Mt Somers •More coming soon!

How will the wheelie bins make a difference This information was not sourced from any sites but from our minds. The wheelie bins will make a difference because cats and dogs can’t get in and spread rubbish round as easy. But they won’t stop people doing this
