Pause for cause You will given a Pause for Cause card to check your behavior. This check may be done in your seat, or a designated seat in the classroom. At the seat you will be given time to calm down and reflect on your behavior. After a period of time, the teacher will quietly talk to you about your behavior and Raptor expectations, then you will return to class. 2. Pause for Cause

If you continue not to follow raptor expectations, then 3. Safe seat

Safe seat You will be asked to move to a specific seat in another classroom: While you are at the safe seat you will be expected to: Fill in the reflection sheet (why were you asked to go to safe seat?) The Safe Seat teacher will discuss Raptor expectations with you before you return to class Leave the room with nothing in your hands Enter the Safe Seat room quietly and sit down in the safe seat Sit without causing any disruption to the class 3.
