Information Systems Management Part 4 Information Systems Management Part 4 addresses the management of information systems development, resources, and security in Chapters 10, 11, and 12, respectively.

PRIDE: "Sunk By Our Own Success." Prototype successful Need to decide what to do with their new invention Need to look at procedures and training, and managing users better Expand resources and scope PRIDE needs to look at procedures and training, and manage users better. It might need to add some new players and resources, add help desk at equipment vendors and some local health clubs. Copyright © 2014 Pearson Education, Inc. Publishing as Prentice Hall

PRIDE: "Sunk by our own success." (cont’d) Pay close attention to user and management responsibilities in next three chapters. Understand responsibilities and activities of IS professionals. Chapter 10, how are they going to provide long-term support? If they form a separate company, how does that company run the PRIDE infrastructure? Chapter 11 discusses IS management. Chapter 12 wraps up by discussing security. For systems like PRIDE, security and privacy are critical. Medical practices are legally required to protect patient data, and patients expect protection.
