1. The tertiary sector Includes all activities which do no t produce material goods, but provide services for people or other economic sectors instead.

Classification of services Types of service providers Private or market services Public or non market services According to their fuction Location of services: close to consumers

Commerce Exchange of goods and services between producers and consumers in echange for some form of payment 2 main components Transaction Market: physical and abstract Domestic trade: within the borders of a country.
