DS Procurement 1. Status of Joint Procurement IO and JADA have agreed joint procurement of DS, because it will be most effective method of the procurement of DS. The Arrangement of joint procurement has been signed by both parties.(Dec. 2014) IO and JADA have set up the Joint Team, and started to work together for DS procurement. The Project Board (PB), chairperson by the JADA Head, has also been set up and the first PB was held on 16th Feb. 2015. The PB is held every month, particularly in person at the occasion of UIT week. The Project Charter, which defines the organization of project team, has been approved by the PB. The Project Management Plan, which is being drafted, defines the overall project management system, including budget profile together with expected credit and associated cash transfer from F4E.

DS Procurement 2. Status of PA Preparation of DS PA is in progress in the Joint Team and is in the finalization stage. DS PA consists of the two phases: Phase 1: DS qualification test at the JAEA facility (TPL) using JADA domestic budget. Cash transfer from F4E is not requested. Phase 2: Covering entire scope of DS procurement, mainly Tokamak Complex-DS, Hot Cell Facility-DS and Glovebox-DS. Cash transfer from F4E will be expected in this phase. Cash Transfer It will be appreciated if F4E could manage direct cash transfer in Euro from F4E to IO as we have discussed and agreed last year. Schedule DS PA will be signed soon for Phase 1. Phase 2 will be signed in 2016.
