Test Specifics 70 questions (Mastery Manager, bring a pencil) Section 1: event ordering (3 groups of 5 ?s) Section 2: Multiple choice, general plot (7 ?s) Section 3: Quote ID, Who Said Quote (18 ?s) Section 4: Quote ID, Who is being described (22 ?s) Section 5: Close Read from end of novel (8 ?s)

How to Prep for test Look over your annotations Study your event order sheet (cause if you miss one of these, you’ll miss at least a second question) Study your character list (that will help you quite a quote ID sections.

When you’re Taking the test Quote ID Sections: The more you know about the characters – what they’re like, what they were involved in, etc… - the better off you’ll do with those sections. There is always a clue in the quote. Close read section: take your time, look over the questions and the answer choices closely.
