Why do you think we have a problem with obesity in our country? Fast food, tech, we aren’t farmers, lazy, don’t sit down to eat or be mindful, eat fast, eat more, $, Comfort food, Pemps in hot, Eating our feelings, we eat when we celebrate,

Obesity = MORE than overweight Affects your daily activities-can’t do certain things A BMI of 30 or more Puts people at risk for health problems

BODY MASS INDEX Not the most reliable method but one method to tell if someone is overweight or obese. Take’s one’s height and weight. WHY MIGHT THIS NOT BE VERY ACCURATE SOMETIMES??? The most reliable is HYDROSTATIC WEIGHING For your HOMEWORK: find your BMI by googling BMI calculator and putting in height and weight.
