Presentation Flow The following slides show how you set up your distribution presentation. EVERYBODY will turn in their own presentation for THEIR OWN product. The group will present the presentation for the product that is on their commercial.

Place your logo here

Product Specifications Benefits Price Cost Target Market

Distribution Intensity Justify the use of selective, exclusive, and intensive Give specific store info

Channel Selection Discuss why you chose this channel Explain what each component does in your channel Make sure you have a pic like this!

Transportation Method Advantages/disadvantages of your transportation choices

Distribution Questions If an intermediary starts to underperform, what will you do? Where do buyers look for your product or service? If they look in a store, what kind? A specialist boutique or in a supermarket, or both? Or online? Or direct, via a catalogue? Do you need to use a sales force? Or attend trade fairs? Or make online submissions? Or send samples to catalogue companies? What do your competitors do, and how can you learn from that and/or differentiate yourself?

International Dist. Questions What does your company want to gain from exporting? Are the expected benefits worth the costs, or would company resources be better used for developing new domestic business? In each country, what is the basic customer profile? What special challenges pertain to each market (competition, cultural differences, import controls, etc.), and what strategy will be used to address them? How will results be evaluated and used to modify the plan?

International Commercial Explain the idea behind your commercial and show it. See if people can guess what is “culturally wrong” with the commercial.
