WHERE WILL YOU BE IN 2017? Because its coming faster than you know it

Options after high school Work Trades Apprentice programs Military Technical colleges Two-year colleges Four-year colleges

Take a career interest inventory Match your skills to a career Explore careers of interest Listen to personal stories from people in careers Find out what type of school or training is needed for careers Find out what a career pays

The Cost of Failure Poor work ethic can affect any business be it a college, a car plant or a collagen centre Questions to ask yourself Can the Bank of Mom &/or Dad afford it? Can the Bank of (your name here) afford it? Do I have the time (7-18 weeks) or $$$ ($250-$600 plus Gas $$$) to afford not passing my classes the first time around? What can I do to succeed?

Credit Recovery Scenarios Within 10 Days of Failing a class Grade Appeal (free) Credit Repair (free) After 10 Days of Failing a class Take it AGAIN at SCHS (free ~ 18 weeks) Night School (gas $$$ ~ 9 weeks) Summer School ($600 ~ 7-8 weeks) Online Classes ($550 ~ 7-18 weeks)

Credit Recovery – w/in 10 Days Credit Repair – (65-69 grade range) Within the first 10 school days after the completion of the semester students may make up work as determined by the classroom teacher to bring their failing grade to no higher than a 70 Grade Appeal – Students may be able to appeal their grade by speaking with their classroom teacher. Students may or may not have to redo work depending on the nature of the situation.

Credit Recovery – w/in 10 Days This is where positive, professional working relationships pay off. Your parents, teachers and counselors will advocate for you but you have to advocate for yourself as well. There is no quid pro quo in effective relationships. Do for others without being asked or waiting for them to do for you.

Credit Recovery – After 10 Days Take it AGAIN at SCHS – (free ~ 18 weeks) Novanet Take it again in REAL TIME Night School (gas $$$ ~ 9 weeks) – Courses for Credit Recovery Only.
